Bakersfield Play Center is a wonderful co-op preschool with the most developmentally appropriate curriculum I have seen. The emphasis on play, creativity, socialization, self esteem, self expression, fun, and cultivation of lifelong love of learning is extraordinary. The parents are friendly, involved, supportive of each other, and genuinely committed to the school and the quality of the experience for the children. We also offer really healthy snacks, which is increasingly difficult to find. The playground is unparallel in my opinion as well. But most of all my children love it, and we have tried out several preschools both here and abroad.
