Braden River Elementary School

I cannot speak highly enough of the school and the principal. They have offered both my children an excellent education. They have dealt with issues quickly and professionally. The principal always makes himself available and does not show favoritism to pupils, parents or money they have paid into the PTO. My son really struggled when he first arrived in BRE. During the first 3 years he received an enormous amount of help and not once did I have to ask!! Thank you Braden River, for helping my son go from a F grade to a B grade.

I have been very disappointed in the leadership at the school since Dr. Fradley left. Many parents have choiced to attend the new charter school or other public sites. Academically the school has still maintained but with the loss of parents, assistant principal and staff due to the decreased enrollment, construction and lack of professionalism/ethics/communication from the principal leads to me question the future for our neighborhood school.

Education and academics are top notch at this school. Teachers are great! Don't know what the chatter is about the principal. Seems fine to me. They must have not gotten what they wanted. BRE is a great neighborhood school. The ranking speak to that. A school is not ranked on how may parents transfer out. Do know how many parents try to transfer their child in...? Alot! Because it's a great school. Because the academics/teachers are fantastic!

The teachers are all excellent, especially in Pre-K. However, I have nothing good to say about the principal. He is rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful (particulary to women).
