My children attended early childhood at Bannach. Cathy Jones Ferk is an outstanding teacher. She is an outstanding teacher who gives her all to the children she supports and their families.

Obviously the neighborhood community is very proud of this school, however it's numbers (475+) at last count leaves little feeling of the 'small community school.' This district is overwhelmed with budget cuts, slashing the music, art, sport, and technology programs to non-existent or to levels meant to merely placate the masses.

Bannach School has outstanding Teachers and Staff, they are there for our childrens future and it shows. The Reading programs they have from the start (K) really shows that they find each child counts. I am really proud that we have teacher who are there for more than the money. Parents can also be involved in many areas. Principal John Zellmer is very proactive and interact with the children on every level.

Out of all the schools in Stevens Point, Bannach stands out with outstanding teachers! I have nothing but positive things to say about the teachers I have encountered with having 2 children in the school. Kindergarten 'Book Buddies' and 'Daily News' are a tremendous influence on the kids with Mrs. Mertz. Miss Kamin in 3rd grade is wonderful with her 'SSR', Silence Sustained Reading and outdoors influence for the kids they really can relate to her. Mrs. Cronce is superior with vocabulary and outgoing personality. Thank you for the time and involvement with my children!
