Ware Magnet School

Ware Magnet is a place were children soar! After retuning from overseas, at age 6, our daughter was enrolled in the Magnet the first year the doors opened. Since that day, she received, a top-notch education in preparation for college. She graduated in 2005 Salutatorian, 2nd in entire graduating class. By that time, Dr. Tanner, the teachers, and classmates, were just as much family to as we are. Our daughter is a well rounded, compassionate, intelligent young lady, who now attend Mercer on full scholarship and will soon complete her Biomedical Engineering Degree. This is greatly in part to The Ware Magnet Family supporting our values, hopes, and dreams for her and allowing all children to soar like an Eagles! Our children deserve the best and Ware Magnet is it! To God be the glory for the things He has done!

I am extremely pleased with the Principal, teachers and Ware Magnet. My daughter presently in the 8th grade, has flourished in all areas. When coming to Magnet in the 6th grade she had suffered from a Brain Trauma Injury in Jan 06 (5th grade year). The task has been difficult for her to recapture what always before was an excellent student ability but Ware County Board and Ware Magnet principal worked with us to accomplish the best schedules for her, with a parapro in place. The 6th grade much needed help was established, now she is progressing with independence, A & B grades and social balance.Growing out of the need for assistance. What could have been a horrific experience turned out to be marvelous one for her and our family. School and staff are to be commended for their efforts to help with my daughter's great determination to succeed.Greatly Blessed!

This is a wonderful school, I am glad that my children are a part of Ware Magnet School.Dr Tanner and the Teachers are great. Everbody at the school knows everybody even k-12th grade students know each others. we are one big happy family ay Ware Magnet School.Hats off to a job well done!

My daughter, who starts high school this year, has attended Ware Magnet since Kindergarten. Over the years she has grown into a strong, intelligent, stable young lady. I give much credit to the teachers and counselors, Dr. Tanner in particular, for their guidance and willingness to help students in any way needed. Dr. Tanner once made the comment to me, 'We are not in the business of failing students.' Her commitment to this school is amazing and I'm grateful that my daughter has had the opportunity to attend this school.
