I am a Libyan immigrant. Our family came to America for my wife's operation, unfortunately she did not pull through. My daughter is 14 and did not have a good experience at Kellogg middle school. The teaching level at the school was not what I had anticipated. My daughter had previous knowledge of the English language and did not require ESOL help. When she joined regular classses, she was not satisfied with some of the teachers and she was even more disappointed by the students. She felt the students were not very respectful towards others, and did not take their academics seriously enough. She also felt the administration was much too uptight and made unnecessary punishments. She was disappointed with the lack of after school opportunities, and lack of fun. She is looking forward to high school because it couldn't get any worse than middle school.

Our son attended from Grade 6-Grade 7, and it was a very good school for him, we liked the teachers, and the class curriculum, and they also gave the students alot of good educational programs. As parents, we would recommend this school to parents seeking a good school for their children, in Rochester, Minnesota
