This school is wonderful. We love it for our children. The staff is truly approachable and the Principals are so inviting. The building is gorgeous. The programming in place reflects a college model. This school prepares kids for the 'real thing.'
I thought this school would be a good fit for my child, but I am finding that a lot of the hype about the school is not true. Even though the classes are smaller than usual (24 max) many of the teachers treat the kids like just another number. When I have gone for parent teacher conferences I feel like they just have no idea who my child really is. It is a magnet school so 1/3 of the students are from towns outside of Stamford, and the school does absolutely nothing to help the out of towners adjust in a school where most of the students already know each other. We thought that this school would be a great opportunity for our child and are very disappointed with it.
