I have been a student at CCS for 8 years, and over that 8 years i have watched the student body, administration, and educational standard drop to what you would expect from a mapleton district school. The harbinger of what was to come was the departure of administrator Scott Bruns in 2005. Since then, the school has mutated from an honest Christ-centered environment to a mediocre school with chapel on Fridays. Student funding is poor, science and art labs have practically no budget whatsoever, and teachers are very bias as to who they truely help in the classroom. I am strongly disappointed in the school, and am very pessimistic about the future prospects this school has in store for itself

I am a parent who highly recommends Community Christian. The teachers care for their students, and want their students to do well not only in their academics. But also in their personal lives, especially in their reationship with Christ. The students enjoy school and learning because of the teachers they have. Sure there might be some things to work out. But the administration is working hard to make Community the best it can be. Thanks teachers and staff at C.C.S. for helping this to be a great school.

CCS is a wonderful place to have your children educated in a loving Christ-centered environment. It has good academics and the children have an excellent opportunity to compete in the sports program. The spring drama presentations are excellent as well as the fall and spring music programs. I don't think you can get a better program for the reasonable cost of the tuition in the Denver area. So if you are looking for a quality education at a reasonable price then CCS is for you.
Terrible. This school is terrible. The education is way below par. Why do I say this? Most of the teachers do not actually teach. Rather, they read the directions for the assignment a loud and then proceed to go sit at their desks for the remainder of the period. They spend too much time getting distracted from the actual lessons on other unnecessary topics. Athletes are put on high priority. If it's the day of a big game, athletes will not be given any form of punishment. No matter what they do. It has been shown through many students SAT or ACT scores that there a certain areas that the majority struggle in. There have been many complaints from parents and students about this particular issue and nothing is done. Save your money. Go somewhere else. Get a real education.
