I attended nativity for several years. While it isn't exactly a diverse school, actually quite the opposite, Nativty does excell academically. If a student really wants to learn, the resources are all there. Not all students want to learn, but those who do have access to good classes, good teachers, informative extracurriculars, and a budding enrichment program. Nativity is very strong in math and science. Nativity science classes went far beyond most middle schools. As for enrichment, the program is improving. While it was non-existant even a few years ago, I was one of their 'guinea pigs' for new systems, and I think that they are improving. Students are given the opportunity to get ahead both in reading, math, and science. Their discipline system is also acceptable. While Nativity may not have an ethnically, politically, or religiously diverse atmosphere, it does prepare students academically.
