I am not impressed- no Fall or winter sports are offered at this school. Student population is arrogant. Teachers are overworked and seem not to care. Students watch news every morning, but don't ever discuss it. Needs to improve a lot- DOn't know how it is a '10'

My child finished at GW this past year. Although students standardized test scores are quite high, some of the teachers have given up on many of the students. Instead of some more basic homework many overblown project work is assigned which is expensive and time consuming. Work is not graded on a timely basis. Grades can be very subjective They focus on the top 10% of the students and create friction with the rest of the group. If a student needs more support they will not receive it unless they are classified. Classified students receive tests ahead of time instead of focusing on teaching them skills. The language program is for the very advanced student. Academic Skills Class (required) does not help students with individual needs. Many of the better teachers have left over the past few years.

The school itself was good, but the teachers were amazingly diffrent in attitude. Some were terrible teachers with no enthusiasm, others were always ready to help you learn.
