Our children have been attending the Community school for 6 years. We previously homeschooled on our own with some resources through the state. What I found was our children were isolated. At my best attempt to take them to group activites, I failed. Trying to 'schedule' play days were hard. Especially when you have little ones who nap. The school not only provides a great enviroment to learn, but a loving enviroment where friendships are developed. Lastly, if I may conclude with this: Homeschooling is NOT for everyone. There are difficult days. And I have yet to experience 'time on my hands' as a previous parent wrote. It has however been a worthwhile investment of time in our childrens lives.

We love going to the Community School! We love how our kids are excelling and loving the Lord! We love the Community of big extended family we have there. We are not parents who have extra time on our hands (I have no idea who wrote the previous review!). I work part-time and authored a couple kids books. I feel that the school is a good balance with the kids getting a 'school' experience, yet are home with me three days a week. It is the perfect balance! We can't say enough for the small class size and especially the focus on our kids hearts and character! We feel blessed to have found the school and thank God he led us there!
This school is only good when you have time on your hands (parents). Part-time Homeschooling AND go to school for further academics? Who has time for this? I had no idea what I was in for...

We love the Community School with its high moral and academic standards combined with homeschooling. It is a community of like-minded families who teach and train their children according to God's Word and the principles in Growing Kids God's Way.
