I agree with the D. Tripodi's review. The school has suffered a pretty drastic decline. The Academic Decathlon team is one of the best in the state and has even made it to national level (amazing for such a small school in a dense state like NJ). For bright and ambitious students, it is a springboard for the Ivy League and the best way to prepare for the workload in top colleges. Yet, the administration seems intent on dismantling the program which, along with the band and chorus, is one of the few treasures that set RMHS apart from its neighbors. The teachers are generally dedicated and well-intentioned but the administration does a great disservice to the students, faculty, and community.

im a former graduate at rmhs, and what i see going on now is horrible. no longer can we say that rmhs is one of the elite schools in the state of new jersey academically. more so, what is done in that school politically is even worse. mr manto is a legend in that school, and he loves his students and does all he can for them.. as a result they disrespected him. mr ciamillo, likewise. i ran into a former gym teacher miss weir, after so many yrs in the system she had to leave because it got to political and she wasnt one of the teachers that was 'in'. as a result of all these politics we have lost and are going to lose great teachers. better teachers develop better students. its a shame whats going on in that school system.

The teachers at RMHS are very good. They work very hard for the students. The principal is very distant. The new vice principal (Miss Depass) is a hard working individual. They have many programs that are excellent! Academic Decathalon is on eof the tops in the state and the music program is second to none for such a small school. I have been overwhelmed by the music departments staff and achievements. You will be too. One of the best small town schools I have ever seen; however, the facilities are in great need of updating. If they pass the referendum in the fall this will be fixed, but it is hard to create the school system they could have without the facilities.
