I like the fact that my children learn the Navajo language. This year all students get free lunch so that no student feels they cannot eat. The do not start music until fifth grade. Soccer is big here but it is done outside of school. They do have some art. I feel that my child is getting a great education. She is in Mr. Robbins class which is a Science and technology classroom. He stresses computer use and science to teach reading math and other fundamentals. I feel that my child is getting a good education here.

I think the educatinal needs of the students are being met by some teachers. The teacher of my fifth grade son, Mrs. Rojo, has taken the time, before and after school to work with my son. The 21st Century after school tutoring program also shows that they care about students. When my son was referred for SPED, he was evaluated, placed and serviced in a short peroid of time. Keep up the good work.

It's a good school, but it could be better, for example the teacher's should also stay afterschool to tutor with some of the students who need to stay afterschool. There are no sports, bands, cheerleading, & other activities for the 3rd to 5th grades, after school. The modified school schedule is a job well done. Since there is Navajo classes for the students, there should also be French and Spanish classes too, children should be able to choose which language class they want to attend. School Board if you are reading this, you might consider some of these in your next meeting. Parents if you agree, we should suggest to the School Board to make these changes. Together we can make a difference in our childrens school system and make learning more enjoyable for all children.

There are some teachers at this school that seem to really care about a student's level of education. Pam Jensen is one that I admire because she takes time out to really work with a child to get his or hers level up with the rest of the group. She also works with the parents closely when a problem arises with a child. Keep up the good work Mrs. Jensen!
