While no school is perfect, I am very, very happy with Grace Brethren. This is the second Christian school my 2nd grader has attended. As a preschooler, she attended a school SO academically challenging and regimented that she began biting her nails, crying at night, bedwetting and often dreaded having to go to school. She literally loves Grace. The work has been challenging and the teachers have been warm and re-assuring. After that first horrible experience, I sought God fervently on my daughter's behalf, and believe she is in the right school for this season in her life. I have and will continue and have recommended Grace to friends.
We have had our children at Grace for several years and we love the teachers, students, anf families. The only problem we have felt is the administration's 'us against them' attitude they take on with the parents. The person they have in place as director is not a people person and seems to be concerned w/ how things appear more than the quality of the enviroment. Parents pay alot to send to this school and should be made to feel they are welcome any time in the school to help or just observe. We are researching other local private christian schools that might have a more open door policy w/ parents.

I love this school! I have had one chlid graduate from Grace and have others still in the secondary program. The administrators, teachers and staff are all willing to listen and work together for the best of the child. This may not always be the easiest for the child, but always what is best. This school has kept their tuition much lower than any other accredited school around and they work hard to keep up on the latest educational resources available. As parents we need to support the administrators and remember that they have alot of experience in education.

If your looking for a great elementary school this is it. The teachers are great and so are the children. Although the secondary leaves quite a bit to be desired. The Administration has lost site of what the schools orginal intent is. They tend to be unsympathic, uncaring and more worried about the bottom line then the children's best interest.
