Woodland Elementary School

My son is in first grade there now. He had a very positive experience last year in kindergarten. The teachers are friendly, he has many friends, enjoys going each day, and is reading at a level above his grade. They still have the 'extras' other schools are cutting such as computers, music, and drama. I would recommend this school highly.

Woodland has been a great experience for my son. I have been very active at the school as are many other parents. The Teachers and administrators have shown a high level of dedication to the students. Every effort has been make to keep class sizes small. They two classes that combine first and second grades. They also have two classes that combine third and fourth grades. Although this program may not be for everyone, it has been a success for the students in this program. My son will start in one of these classes in September 2003.
