I am a senior at BCHS. And I simply love it. I transfered from NBHS to BC not because of my friends (they all went to NB) but because of me knowing it wold prepare me for the real world. In the end I am glad I choose BC. And just a note our JROTC does not try to recruit their students. They simply make you aware of your choices other then college when you get out of high school!
My son liked the school...the teachers and principals were terrific, his counselors were excellent, and he made some good friends.

Once again I am writing a review on this school, & I will stick to what I wrote the 1st time this school is GREAT!!! As far as bad grades or missed asignments goes this is a high school which is prepairing our kids for the real world. If teacher have to call everytime a student does not turn things in they would be on the phone nonstop.Since the 1st of the year Bullitt county has had the Infinite Campus. On this website you can check yourself if your kids are turning in thier work, or check their grdaes in each class. As far as sports & JROTC it is conpleately up to the kids if they want to join something extra in school. There are alot of courses to choose from to get you ready for college. And they do not wear uniforms. People get your facts stright!!!

I attended Bullitt Central a few years ago, and upon me leaving I found that I was completely unprepared for college. I don't mean that in the sense of knowledge, I mean I simply don't have the classes required to get in. So, thanks to this wonderful high school, I now have to pay for these classes at a community college because I was not prepared in high school! Another note: While I do respect the JROTC program, they obviously are trying to recruit students straight from high school. I had quite a few friends from HS leave and join straight into the army. It's like BC thinks everyone from Shepherdsville is either going to play sports or join the army, otherwise go nowhere.
