If you are considering a move to Beaufort County and will be sending your children to Bluffton High School, think again! I have been very disappointed in the quality of education in this school and even more disappointed in the poor quality administration. My husband and I would not have moved here if we had known about the poor education our children were to receive.
Bluffton High is a great school and I really enjoy being a student from there. The sports are becoming better and better. Academically, the teachers are preparing us for college. There is not a better school to go to in the Beaufort County district.
I have 2 teens in 10th grade. BHS is very new school with state-of -the-art classrooms and equipment. Very caring teachers, glad to stay after school to help kids catch up. ROTC raises the flag ea. morning, they say the pledge of allegiance, they teach all the alternatives to evolution! Hurray! We love it!
we just moved from the northand the climate of the school is open and warm. My children have been spoken to and interviewed for the best fit possible academically. They focus on my child achieving and preparing for their futures. I am looking forward to the next few years.
