Ferry Farm is a community school that prepares its students to be life-long learners. Ms. Lewis, principal, is awesome and the staff is top notch! They nurture and expect nothing less than a student's personal best. I am most impressed with how much emphasis is placed on building the character of the students. Cooperation, respectful behavior, and personal responsibility are traits that are constantly being emphasized and taught. The school welcomes parent involvement, with so many exciting activities offered through the PTA.
My son is in his third year at the school, and he has thrived. He mastered reading all through the first grade, has had excellent teachers each year, and the principal, Mrs. Lewis, is top notch! There is a good diversity of students here, and the parent involvement / PTA is excellent.
I can not express in words how wonderful my experience with Ferry Farm has been. My daughter attended for 4 years, and had excellent, involved, talented teachers each year. The principal is fantastic. The after school programs are very exciting, with enrichment activities offered to provide students with new skills, or hobbies. Parent involvement is top notch. The school is always organized, clean, and the classrooms are large and conducive to learning. Class sizes were small. Ferry Farm also conducts many opportunities to get together with game nights, ice cream socials, etc. We were very sad to have to move away from such a great school. After experiencing the best, it is going to be hard for another school to live up to Ferry Farms standards! Reenee Cochran
I absolutely love this school. My son is in Kindergarten and he loves this school. Parent involvement is wonderful and everyone is so friendly and just great. I am very happy my son goes to ferry farm. Not to mention that this school has awesome test scores, which means awesome teachers!:)
