Being a graduate, I can say that North Clarion is an excellent school with fantastic teachers. I do believe this school focuses more on academics than sports, but I am not saying that the sport programs at North Clarion lacks support there are just a lesser amount of options relative to larger schools. This school has an outstanding Drama/Theatre, Music program even for the lack of funds and an auditorium. The students and directors make due with what they have and come through outstandingly! One of the largest academic programs that North Clarion has at the moment is the Academic Sports League (ASL)/United States Academic Decathlon(USAD). Students who participate compete in many academic subject areas. In May of 2008, North Clarion had qualified and competed at the small school national level where they placed 4th! A great accomplishment for this amazing little school near the cornfield.

I went to this school from K-12 but now when having and child int he school i think its gone down hill quit a considerable bit in the principal leadership area and the sporting area. I heard some parents were complaining about the way coaching staff was doing thier job so that particular coach quit which is leading to losing seasons.

North Clarion is a small school and things do spread fast but most of the teachers are nice and will give help to those who ask. North Clarion does focus on sports as well as academics. We have Academic Sports League, Science Olympiad, National Honors Society, etc. We have recently won 3rd place at the 1st ASL competition and 2nd at Academic Pentathlon. If that isn't great for a small school tell me what is.
