Superior school! Having come from a local public school, in my opinion the academics are excellent. French and Spanish are taught at all grade levels. The science and technology skills are top notch, and the curriculum exceeds what is offered at the public schools. The school has a great community feel with a lot of parental involvement. The values and discipline instilled by the Sisters make the school even more unique. Definitely check it out!
Great school...alot of 'potential'. The problem is that they have had 'potential' for years now and continue to loose great teachers because of a poor administration who seem to be grossly underqualified for their positions. Its a shame

After three years, the school has not been able to establish the academic excellence that it promised to achieve. The lack of a professional administrator and a clear vision for the school are the reasons that this school continues to flounder. Financial constraints also persist and many of the intended programs continue to be unfunded, despite the continual fund raising efforts. These issues and the inability to obtain school wide achievement scores for comparison purposes make it difficult to choose NDA for my children when other, better options are clearly available. The only hope for the success of NDA are the wonderful families who continue their efforts to help this school reach its potential.

There are nice people working at NDA. This school will become great one day. But, it is just too new - the school has not yet found its footing. There are too many inexperienced teachers and administrators. This is particularly evident in the preschool to kinder age groups. The preschool kids receive a very rigid, often harsh, program of instruction. Probably best to wait until your kids are older to send them to NDA. Also, NDA is VERY expensive for a Catholic school. It might be the most expensive K-8 Catholic school in all of Southern California. Thus, there is little socio-economic diversity.
