Westerville North is by far the most academically rigorous high school in the district. Despite its lack of IB courses, Westerville North was ranked as one of the top 1500 high schools in the nation in 2009, something that none of the other high schools in Westerville can boast. It has an extremely well developed AP program with some of the most experienced and best teachers in the district. The AP history courses especially have all been top notch in my experience. This year all 3 national merit scholar semi-finalists came from Westerville North. The Warrior Way lives on.

This is a great school and a credit to the community. Main focus is the Warrior Way which is all about respect. Students and staff alike practice the Warrior Way.

I have a senior and a sophomore this year and I have found Westerville North offers something for everyone academically and extra currucular. There is a wide range of honors and AP classes and help for students in need. Most teachers are responsive to these needs and are truly there for the students. Student achievement in all areas reamains this administration's top priority. The district as whole has done a great job with expansion and limited funds opening two new elementary schools and this year a new high school. It is important to the district to keep the teacher student ratio at a level beneficial to the students. The new small learning communities will help with this as well as help the students stay connected with the staff.
