Caloosa is a great school I love going to school in elementary I didnt want to go but know I dont want to miss a day there are rarely any fights my mom is always updated with my grades and the teachers are excellent and willing to help! This school is the best and the princaple is amazing ! I love this school
I feel the teachers should be allowing the kids to make up work when they have been absent. Some do and some don't. Teachers should be calling parents when students grades are falling. When parents call teachers they should return calls within 24 hrs. Alot of teachers at this school don't return calls for days or the parent has to recall them.
I attended Caloosa and my little sister goes there now. I hated it! There are fights practically every week. The drama within that school seriously needs some reconciliation - so many rumors fly about. Honestly, it's horrible for a person's self esteem. Everyone hates on everyone else. It's awful! Really, no one does anything about it. Now, there are a few teachers that really care about the kids, but the PRINCIPAL isn't one of them. He has such little control over the students. Something needs to be done about that school.
Caloosa Middle Schools is a very good school. I would know, I have been attending this school since for two years and I am now entering the school year as an 8th grader. The teachers really take the time to make sure you understand your studies. I am in the Gifted program that they offer at Caloosa and all the oppurtunities we get are awesome. As for the clubs, exploratories and other non-academic classes, they provide students with a break from their five basic classes. I am so glad that I had a chance to meet the teachers and staff at this school. They really make middle school a great experience.
