Our children have attended TCS for several years and we have been very pleased. It is a very nurturing place where I can drop off my children and not have to worry if they are safe. They have learned so much, more than they would have if they attend local public schools. The family atmosphere has allowed us to build life long friendships and has made our children's educational experience even that more meaningful. The new Head of School has made so many positive changes in the short time he has been there. He is readily available for parents, children and teachers. I recommend this school to anyone who is truly looking for the best in Topeka area!
This school truly specializes in academic excellence -- helping all children at all levels rise to their personal best. But the coolest thing is the attention to the total educational experience -- making sure art, music, foreign language -- often areas cut in public school -- thrive and celebrate the creativity of children. Teachers smile! There is a joy of learning unlike any school we've experienced.
We love the experience we are having with TCS and couldn't be happy with all the information our son is learning from caring teachers. We also love the extracurricular activities planned for families. I really feel a part of his school and appreciate seeing first hand what he is learning.
Anyone seeking the best in education for their children should visit Topeka Collegiate. The administration is well-focused on what is best for the children--at this point, they are diligently working toward much needed building improvements. The teachers are 100% focused on educating our children, not just with academics, but values and principles and work ethics that will influence their decisions for life. I cannot say enough about the school families--they are caring, involved people who want the best for their children. Don't pass this up if you are concerned about the price. There is financial aid available and even if it is a stretch for your income, the rewards are endless. We've been happy for 3 years now and are looking forward to a new year with new exciting teachers and classes.
