Big Springs Center & School was definately the answer to my child's learning style. The school district was unable to help my child, due to inexperience and class sizes, to prove beneficial. The staff at Big Springs Center & School truly care about the needs of a child. Thank You.
This is my sons second year at BSS. Let me tell you when we started here he was in big trouble in the public setting, the non-stop issues with trying to get service for him was ridiculous. We (my husband and I) have been completly satisfied and greatful to the staff at BSS. Our son now recieves every kind of therapy he needs, OT which we fought tooth and nail to get at public schools, vision therapy which didn't seem to exist in the public setting, He also recieves social skills which is huge for our son. We are looking towards the future for our son and feel he is being prepped very well. Thanks to all BSS staff.
so far, i am pleased with my son development thus far. When he came to this school in 4th grade from Seneca Elementary where he had been placed in the special needs program from 2nd grade and still did not not know how to read the basic words, and was having a very difficult time with even basic 1st grade material, he did not even know the basic phonic. It seems he has a varies of issues that makes it very hard to learn. visual, audio, processing. but he has trived since he has come to this school. it was a god sent. i highly recommend it.
