Our daughter is near completion of her first year of pre-k at CDC. This is an excellent school. The staff is fantastic, most have been at the school for 10, 20 or 30 years. There is very little turnover with teachers at the school. There is a very strong focus on reading. Once a week the students also are exposed to spanish, music, art, drama, bible and physical activity. Our daughter has learned a tremendous amount this year and has dramatically increased her focus and attention span. CDC is a montissori school so there is a focus on each child's readiness to learn a new skill and independence. I would be remiss if I did not point out the loving environment created at CDC. The teachers are so wonderful, patient and create such a connection with the children. The staff makes a real effort to get to know each family.
