Stratford Middle school is a very good school of many creative and sweet children who have a brilliant minds!
My time at the school was far below what was acceptable. The teachers hardly ever cared and fighting in the school was a norm. Apon ocassion you'd get the rare teacher who did teach you enough to get you above a C. Over all, the school was very bad, I would never recommed this school.
Stratford is the best school ever and the teachers are extremely motivated to help their students succeed. They also have STRIVE it's were the students can get help with homework after school.They have art as a related arts class Mrs. Horowitz it really talented. The Music teacher is good at helping you understand. Sports the 2006-2007 boys b-ball team did really well, and so did the boys volleyball team. All the coaches are really talented and dedicated and so are the players. Parent involvement is great there is the parent teacher conferences one in the fall (required) and one in the spring but you have to request it. You can go on the website and go to the online classrooms. Email the teachers. Progress reports are sent home every two weeks and require a signature along with the progress reports you get a Stratford Sentinel and a team newsletter. IluvSMS
Both of my children attended Stratford Middle School. The academic programs are outstanding and the staff shows a true concern for the students. The interaction between students and teachers was very high and both of my children enjoyed their middle school years. There are plenty of extracurricular activities along with intramural sports. The school supports the Character Counts! program and it shows in both the students and the staff. Stratford has a very involved PTA who is truly supportive of the school. Art is part of the curriculum, band is available along with choir. Each year the school puts on a musical for the community. Stratford is a great place!
