Arthur S May School

My daughter is in Kindergarten at Arthur S. May and she absolutley loves it. Her teacher, Mrs. Leigh is wonderful, she makes learning fun for the children by incorporating songs and little dance moves to teach the alphabet and the days of the week. The school stays in touch with the parents with frequent letters home just to let us know what's going on. I'm a room mom in my daughter's class, I help do all the holiday parties with a few of the other moms so I've seen how great Mrs. Leigh is and how well the children respond to and interact with her. I love the school and I can't wait for my other two girls to get there. If you're thinking of starting your child at Arthur S. May, try to get Mrs. Leigh!

I have one child who currently attends Arthur S. May and one who attended until he went to middle school. This is an excellent school with caring teachers and administration and a rigorous academic program. The office staff is incredible as well.

This school has an excellent academic cirriculum. They offer so many wonderful programs. There is the MORE program for gifted students, Banana Splits for children of divorce. I LOVE how they still have half day kindergarten! There is one teacher at this school who deserves special mention - Kelly Becker aka Ms. Becker. She teaches 1st grade. She is so wonderful, kind and loving to the children. It is so rare to find a teacher that gives as much as Ms. Becker. The principal, Michael Malet, really cares about the children. Whenever I visit the school to have lunch with one of my children, I always see Mr. Malet walking around. I feel safe knowing my children are in his hands 6 hours a day.
