Uinta Meadows Elementary School

I have been apart of the UME family for 7 years now. I can honestly say that this is the best elementary school in Evanston. You are welcome anytime, the teachers and staff are so friendly. I really love all the activities that UME PTA holds for the students. I know that if I have any questions or comments that they are taken seriously and handled fast and in such a professional way. I love this school. I will miss being a part of it. It is a family not just a school. Everyone knows everyone here. From the crossing guard to the cooks, everyone is involved with our children s education here! Oh yea by the way the PTA Rocks! Kristie Prescott's

My kids have attended UME since kindergarten and are now in 3rd and 5th grade. Being the largest elemetary school in Evanston doesn't hurt UME as they have great teachers, a great principal and great support staff. Any problems are addressed quickly and professionaly. They encourage a lot of parent involvement and have a great PTA. There are a lot of afterschool activities offered and a great summer program. I wouldn't choose any other school to send my kids!

UME welcomed us totally! The principal,teachers and the PTA are awesome. I'm so glad my child has the opportunity to attend such a great school. It's a bit tougher than my child's old school, but we think that's a good thing! We Love UME!

UME is a great school with fabulous teachers, and the principal Mr. Edmiston is amazing. Two thumbs up!
