We couldn't be happier with Bethany. Our children have had great teachers and the principal is very good as well. LOTS of parent involvement.

My son is in second grade this year. He has a speech issue that all of the teachers involved with him has worked at great length with him and us to overcome this issue. They have also helped us get him into the right reading programs to get him caught up. I am deeply impressed with the entire Bethany staff!

Bethany shines in the Beaverton district as great school, with wonderful parent involvement. Most of the teaching staff is well above average to outstanding in attention to the students. My only complaint is that there are not well designed differentiation programs for TAG kids. This is the area in which Bethany and the Beaverton school districts could stand some growth and change. I am not a supporter of the Investigations math program that they use in our district, however we supplement at home with good results.

Our son attended a private school for 3 years and we were very hesitant trying a public school, however Bethany exceeded our expectations. Our son's teacher is wonderful and the principal is very involved and hands-on. Most educational materials and activities are tailored to each kid's level, which is great and was a good surprise. The only thing we are disappointed about is a number of after-school activities offered (very little), however I believe it is managed by a parent organization, and obviously isn't a major part of child's education - I just take my son to other schools/clubs for after-school activities, which just makes it a bit more hassle for me.
