As a graduate of Eustis High School, class of 2006, I would like to say that ALL of these reviews must be taken with a large grain of salt. I imagine that some of the students who continually dissrespected teachers/administrators, never showed up to class, or completed course assignments are now criticizing the school on this messageboard. Parents should STRONGLY investigate the teachers, and find ones who can best prepare their students. As an A student, I mostly took honors and AP classes. I didn't have to sit in classes where the teacher was spending half of the period disciplining students. Overall, a great school that prepared me to become a successful college student. Note to Parents: check on the teachers who are teaching your kids!!! DEFINITELY encourage them to participate in sports/after-school clubs to develop well-roundedness for college/life in general, visit the AWESOME/VERY HELPFUL ladies in the college/career center!!

I went on to succeed after Eustis High School, so I wont complain. There were opportunities to learn, to excel, to prepare for the future. There were adequate ressources and motivated teachers (and to a lesser degree, students). However, the textbooks were often canned and too limited.

The school means well but as of current cant seem to get with it. Kids are dropping out left and right because of how hard it is for them to pass. The school has/had made many changes and it seems as though all of them have hurt the school.

As a 2007 graduate of Eustis High School, I can honestly say that is what you make it. I personally think that there had been a lack of discipline; however, I have heard a lot of great things about the new principal and think that that problem is behind us. Parents play a key role in their child's education. Challenge them to take the harder classes and get involved on campus. The Dual Enrollment program is great. The ladies in the career center are helpful as is the guidance receptionist. Overall, Eustis is a great school with a lot of sprit! Go Eustis!
