We need more parental involvement. I do not see that at Casa Linda. also, there needs to be more push for guest speakers that involve learning for students. Also , I feel not enough homework was given to my child who was in fourth grade last year.

My son attends kindergarten at Casa Linda Elementary. His teacher Mrs. Prater is excellent. She's very patient, kind, and gives excellent feedback. The school is always clean and the office staff is very helpful. He is already excellent at reading, he is learning about computers, and there are many programs and activities for him to be involved in throughout the school year. This school strives to make sure the students realize their full potential. I love this school.

Casa Linda is an extemely supportive school. It is just small enough so that the teachers know most of the students. The principal and assistant principal also know most of the students as people not just names on a roster. The individual needs of the students are met at Casa Linda. There are many extracurricular activities available to the students. Some of these are: Folclorico dance, Choir and a running club. The parental involvement is average. It could be better. There are several parents who always volunteer their time and assist the teachers in preparation for PTA meetings and campus wide celebrations.
