With the recent changes in staff and teachers, the school does seem unorganized. In addition, the teachers are strict. They expect 4 yr olds to sit still and keep quiet. Face reality, they are kids. You will be lucky if they can sit still for more than 15 mins. I am also looking for a new school.
I was suprised to read the negative comments below. My 2 children have attended this school for the past year. They have had some staff changes but I see no changes in the quality of education. My children are both happy and come home each week learning something new. The prices are good and the school is clean and welcoming.
Although there have been many changes recently, my child still attends this school and enjoys going every day. I feel that the new replacement director is doing a great job and her total focus has been on the children. The staff is very friendly and my child is learning a lot. I observed one day, and her teacher and other staff members are working very hard at teaching the children throughout the day. I have seen the owner there several times, and she is working hard at providing a fun, loving & learning environment. I would refer Slater Montessori to anyone looking for a wonderful school.
this school does not care about the children-all they do is watch TV-most of the time-I ask my child who is a 5 year old what they have done and she says watch tv-I wam looking for a new school
