A small enough school to have personnel who 'know' most of the students from their neighborhoods, churches and YMCA. Young faculty who are enthusiastic and energetic.
Because they are doing a great job with teaching many skills that will enable the kids to apply for many different careers.
Bonner Springs High School is a great place to educate students. Both my sons attended Kindergarten thru 12th grade. The teachers and staff were always very willing to help when extra help was needed. Staff is very friendly.
We have two boys who attend BSHS. Our youngest son has significant disabilities and has become a valued member of his school. Our oldest son is gifted. While there are limited classes for advanced studies, there are many classes which challenge even the most intelligent student. Both of our boys are part of extra-curricular activities. I would not choice another district or school as our boys are learning, growing and leading!! The teachers care and the administration has truly learned from our youngest son.
