I'm not sure how anybody could find something wrong at HCS. Trust me, I spend enough time there! We're quite like a family; we tease eachother and have some disagreements, but we always make up and have a great laugh about it later. Even the teachers laugh, too! Is it pathetic of me to say that I actually WANT school to start again?!? SEPTEMBER EIGHTH, BABEH! WHOO!

My oldest son Jacob graduated this year and I could not possibly be more pleased. HCS has been a special memory he will keep forever. My second son has dyslexia and is in a special program for children such as himself. His teachers go above and beyond to help him. My daughter my oldest daughter wll begin third grade this year and she is Amazing. They let her move forward and challenge her as she is very intelligent. I also have a daughter in pre-k at HCS. Both of my girls were singing in German and Spanish over the weekend. They are able to sign many things as well. My third grader plays the piano, the recorder and sings. She can't wait to be old enough to add the flute and hand bells to her music studies. Children fourish in this special place. Mr. Wilson is a God send.

Very good overall. As in any school, a small # of teachers you wont like, but most are excellent and caring. I can't say enough good things about principal, Brian Wilson. He does everything with excellence; is very responsive to parents' concerns; engages the students in the hallways and at school events; is big on discipline, but laughs with and encourages the kids as well; a truly Godly man. The special ed program has served us well. Where else can you go in MD to get a well-rounded, Christian ed for your special needs child for under $6000/year? They have individualized my child's ed to meet her needs, without sacrificing quality. She has small class sizes (5 to 1) where needed and is included in mainstream classes whenever appropriate. If your kid has learning disorder, this school 'gets it'.Excellent fine arts and sports programs.Great Bible-based curriculum.
