A wonderful small community school which is strugling to keep up with its expanding communtiy. Ridgefield has that small town, small class size which focuses on its students needs. It could really use extra funds to keep up with its growing needs.

Very happy with the success our children have had since coming to this school. The care our children have recieved here is unmeasurable. The quality of their learning has been pushed and helped them to think outside the box.

Calculators are REQUIRED for 5th graders (how will they learn with them?) 4th graders don't have times tables memorized, 3rd graders haven't been taught how to read a clock. Kindergarteners attend 2 days one week and 3 the next instead of a half day. Hard for them to retain what they've learned each 4 day weekend. Too much time is devoted to studying the state testing... should have been learning this all before, throughout the year. There's quite a few teachers who seem to have stopped caring about the kids... Administration says they care - but they're not willing to work with anyone when they have a problem.
