My son geos to james breckinridge middle school and has learn so much from the teachers.... And i am very proud of them!

I am a parent of a student at Brechinridge middle school. I also had high hopes for my child last year. If the teachers dislike a student they send them to ISS for little things such as chewing gum, or throwing a piece of paper.My child spent the majority of time the first nine weeks in ISS or OSS , and was taught nothing. This school is lacking of teachers who actually care about the students and want to teach. They care about disipline only. Which would be a good thing if you had a child that needed to be disiplined. But the little things that they disipline for are unreal. My child had straight F's the 1st nine wks. When he went to homebound and came back to school the last 9wks ,made straight A`s. But, still was suspended the last week of school for wearing a hat.

I am a parent of a child whom currently attends Breckinridge. At the begining of the school year I had high hopes of my child doing well. I regret to say that some of the teachers are lacking in their ability to do what they are supposed to do 'teach'. There is also a lack of communication between parent and teachers, even when the parent makes themselves available. This is never good. The principal is trying her best, but is also failing in providing the needs of the children and parents.
