I am a student and my experience here was a horrible one. The teachers dont care to help or guide their students. Ive been having a tough time adjusting as a freshman. Unfortunately I have to finish here since my parents cannot aford going elsewhere, but in one year, ive grown to find out that you are all alone. The guidance counsolers, teachers, and etc do not fully do their job and its a shame.
I think the school gives a wonderful combination of academic and non-academic services to provide to all types of students.
I should also add that this school has greatly improved many of my weaknesses. The teachers provide great education especially for math, literature, and science. I think it has prepared me for college.
Paramus HS has a fantastic course catalogue. It is college-esque. There are many AP offerings, and the fine arts program is stellar. The many creative teachers make it an energetic place. There is much parental involvement, though some of it is self-serving and counterproductive.
