My child was in private school and was not doing well. We moved him to EHS where he is doing much better. I have had no problems as of yet. As a matter of fact my other child was in private school as well - making all A's - she will be going to EHS as a freshman. She wanted to experiance a larger school atmospher. I have been surprised what a great school EHS is. Not what I expected - everyone has been so helpful. We look forward to another great year at EHS. The staff is wonderful - the only area of improvment would be the class sizes - seems to be a little over crowded.

Eastside is a great school and I would recomend it to anyone trying to find a school for their children. Great staff and administration also.

My child use to attend Eastside and he still has many friends still there. Thankfully, we could afford to send him to a private school for better academics. He was barely passing at Eastside and now has an outstanding GPA and SAT score. We thought he may have a learning disability that did not show up until ninth grade, however, he was just bored. The students are correct - the teachers (as a whole) do not seem to have a positive attitude about teaching there(lots of administrator/teacher conflicts) and it reflects in their abilities in the classroom. In their defense, I think it is hard to teach children that do not feel they are respected. And the adminstration at Eastside does not seem to respect students or give them the benefit of the doubt. As a result, students are dropping out quite frequently.
