I have 3 children & thank god for leading me to Lamar. My 7 year old failed 1st grade at his old school, I was even told he needed medication and that he was out of control. Long story short, my son passed 1st grade at Lamar with an excellent report card. My preschooler has advanced tremendously and is interacting with children , something she would not do before. My oldest son was an honor roll student at his other school. Yet I saw he was challenged and kept on his toes year round. I have all the faith in Lamar and think they succeed because they truly care. Kudos to Lamar !

My child was not challenged enough and the teacher has ignored my requests of giving her harder assignments because she was way above level. Also, too much concentration on reading/writing leaves no room for math exploration and advancement. I believe the classroom dynamics were set to favor the weaker students (which is great) but the stronger students were left behind.
The individuals that work at this establishment are totally dedicated to children. This is what makes them stand apart from other schools in the area. THEY CARE!
