With the child not left behind act, they need to look at how they discipline children better. If the child forgets homework or reading assignment, why take child out of classroom to sit in another room and do nothing. Why not give the child chance to finish homework or reading with other children and turn it in, even if not for a grade. You are taking them out and basically saying, you arent good enought to be with the rest of the kids, so go. My child feels left out and out of place when this occurs. It dosent seem like teachers care much anymore as long as they are getting a pay check and not bothered. There is more to life than just sports and grades. Some jobs go by experience, not grades. If you want children to feel good about themselves, worry about what is in the now.

Very disappointed in this school so far. Teachers and staff are less than friendly, communication is not there.
