While we lived in Conroe and our children were going to Rice, we knew it was a good school. We didn't know how good until we moved. The Teachers are amoung the best, they care about the students and keep the parents in the loop. As being discussed today, the classes are not just disigned to teach the TAKS, the kids gains so much more and learn interaction skills. The academics are slightly ahead of other schools and encourage children to move into Advance Placement. I cannot think of anything bad to say about the school, the location, the teachers, the principal, staff, kids, etc other than we miss it. Too bad we moved, but our youngest was in his last year there.

My daughter attends second grade at B.B.Rice. I am very pleased with the personal attention that is given to each child. Her classes have been fairly small. I've put off moving in order to keep her in this school.

I am a former student myself and I have had 1 child graduate from Rice and now my 1st grader has been going there since pre-k. I have always enjoyed this school. Everyone is like a family and cares about each other. If your child needs help the staff will make sure it happens for your child. I look forward to my 3rd child attending this school.
