I hate how this school is full of cliques. Teachers need to regulate bullying in Sylvania schools. This high school was by far the worst. Although I did get an excellent education, I would have been better off somewhere else where people were nicer.

Overall, this is an excellent school. Academics: Very strong academically. Teachers are dedicated and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. There are many Advanced Placement classes offered here - it offers the most AP classes in the area. The school also has a very strong arts program as well as a renowned music and theatre program. Its choir, band, and orchestra consistently placed in the top and have often placed in states. Its theatre program continues to bloom and has performed for the State Conference many many times. Extracurricular activities: There are plenty of these at Northview. From sports to subject-specific clubs (math club, Science Olympiad), each student is bound to find his/her niche here. Its sports program is generally strong and maintains a lively rivalry with Southview. Facilities: The big negative here. Facilities are outdated and often becomes problematic, but students and staff have learned to overcome this in creative ways.

This is an excellent high school. The curriculum was challenging and the teachers are the best. They know how to teach and do an excellent job of preparing students. The extracurriculars are outstanding. I loved the experience I had at Northview as well. Everyone is nice and the students here are great kids.
