Keenburg Elementary School

Keengburg is very good school but there needs to be more parent involdment .The parents must not care what goes on with there children or they would take part of the pto or even try to come to meetings .

This is a wonderful shchool to go to,no im not a parent but i go to school here and it is ,in my oppinion the best school in carter county.Even Dont take advice from other parents take it from the students.The teachers here are wonderful ,like mrs.Makland,mr.Hyatt,mr.Hyder,mrs.Grindstaff,ms.Joy and all the rest of them.Check y'all later,coryphillips

This is a wonderful school. The teachers here are great, especially Mrs. Blevins-Chausse, Mr. Hyder, Mr. Hyatt, and Mrs, Markland. They all care for their students and take the time to know each of them. I'm not a parent, but I went there and know I miss it very much. I miss you Guys. Brooke

My child has attended Keenburg for a year and a half now. We have had no problems with the school itself but find that the parents of the students don't seem to care as long as their children have a place to attend. Needs much more parent support in order for the school to become better. Most parents do not even show up for conferences. This is a school parents, not a daycare center. Show some support, the teachers and principal can only do so much. It would be nice to have more programs (music, sports, clubs) available for the students.
