the teachers are pretty good, butthe princepal stinks. we cant have backpacks because there a 'saftey hazard' so out backs constantly hurt becausewe have to have the string backpacks, and they break all the time.mymom spendstonsof money becausethe sstring bookbags break every other day and we have to have one. we also cant carry alot of book, so were late for class becausewe have yo go to ourlocker, and the passing period has been changed so we have 3 minutes instead of the usual 5.

My son attended Walker in 6th grade, and is returning this year for 7th. We are very pleased with Walker, last year was the first time my son made straight 'A's (even in his advanced classes) --- all while playing sports and being a memeber of the Walker band. We look forward to another great year.

My child is a student at walker middle school. He is attending 8th grade this school year coming up. I am sure this is not the norm of the school but last year we had some terrible teachers! My son entered walker as a advanced student in advanced classes and my son is a child that loves to learn. This past school year that all changed and we struggled getting him to focus and enjoy school. after many parent/teacher conferences nothing seemed to change. I am praying for a better school year this year coming up with teachers who are motivated and have the patience,encourgement and dedication to teach. I know other parents who had problems with these teachers as well and their kids were advanced & great students! what a shame! Keeping my fingers crossed for a better school year 2007-2008!
