Every morning the principal greets the children, I have walked into the school many mornings during this time and it is a short moment that helps to start the children's day off! Happy, Energetic, and ready to Learn!

Great School! Despite its high rating, I think it is underated. Sycamore makes a major investment in its schools and it shows not only at Mapledale elementary, but Montgomery elementary as well. We are delighted with the school district.

The gifted programs and extra curriculars are a huge selling point for this school! It would be even better if the preschool at Symmes elementary could be expanded here!

Maple Dale is a wonderful school. The building itself is unique for an Ohio school because the center, though enclosed by the perimeter, is open outdoor space with walkways and grass. The walls are murals, with vibrant artwork by middle school students. The technology and facilities (including the playground) are very up to date. I emphasize the physical characteristics of the school first because I believe they represent Maple Dale's 'personality'. It is a unique school with an emphasis on community and personal responsibility, and the staff there truly appreciates each child's personality and abilities. Maple Dale is part of one of the highest ranked school systems in Ohio, and has received numerous national awards for academic excellence. Music, art, and sports are highly valued and emphasized, and there are many extracurricular activities including community sports, and after school enrichment classes for students and parents.
