I am in the PTA at this school and I do feel that it is one of the best schools in our area. The teachers do truly care about the kids and have their best interest at heart. The office and support staff treat each kid as if it were there own.

My daughter started Kindergarten at Ozark South in August. The minute we met the principal, guidance counselor, and her teacher, we knew she would have a great year! My daughter was reading within a few months of starting school and has been progressing at an impressive rate. Her teacher, Mrs. F, is dedicated to the learning experience of her students. I have yet to meet a staff member who wasn't happy to help in any way they could. I appreciate the help we have been given by the principal, giudance counselor, teacher, nurse, front desk, etc. I truly believe that any parent complaining about this school, may need to take a look at their own parenting skills.

My daughter has attended Ozark South Elementary for 2 years and loves it. I teach in another district and have not noticed unfair grading or negative behavior from any of the teachers at South Elementary. Infact, almost everyday has something special going on for the kids to be excited about. Each grade uses the same discipline approach with incentives for appropriate behavior. They have a wonderful website with easy access to student information. The PTA is extremely dedicated. This year one of their teachers even won Wal-mart's Teacher of the Year award. I also use their before and after hours childcare and have found that my daughter has a great time.
