The Performing Arts Academy (PAA of OCVTS) is a fabulous school! My daughter is a sophomore acting major and couldn't be happier! The teachers here LOVE their jobs! They support their students both in and out of the classroom. This school is academically challenging and difinitely college prep. There are many opportunities to volunteer, learn, and to grow. I highly recommend this school!
The best kept secret in Ocean County. Imagine that! a high school with normal curriculum but also dedicated to training in the arts; voice, dance, and acting. Not only that but the teacher to student ratio is great; something like 6 to 1 (student to teacher)
My daughter graduated from the Performing Arts Academy this past spring (2006) She had been in the acting program and is now in college pursuing her BA in theatre arts. This school was a wonderful choice for her. She was able to thrive in the smaller class settings. The curriculum is challenging and definately prepares them for college level work. I would recommend this program to anyone who is serious about the arts. My son is applying to the school for entrance this coming September!
This is a wonderful school. My daughter is a dancer and loves it here. The school offers a great atmosphere along with a great teaching program. The classes are smaller and the teachers really care. I wouldn't want my child to go any place else.
