I have a 4th and 5th grader enrolled at this school and it has been a blessing! Principle Lisa Berry is really involved and welcoming to all the kids. Teachers are great and kids are super! Very positive learning environment.
Even with a new school in the vicinity, Brouillet is seriously overcrowded. The administration seems a bit more scattered and disorganised than last year, a lot of seemingly 'last-minute scrambling'. Teachers, as always, are wonderful though!
My son attended Brouillet and while it was overcrowded the staff was excellent and tried to make the best of a bad situation. With the addition of a new elementary school, I hope the student to teacher ratio has dropped. I know before the new elementary was even opened, they had already moved portables onto the property. Poor planning by District Admin is the only issue any of the schools in our area have.
Both of my kids have been attending this school for years. We love it. I don't think we've had a bad teacher yet! The principals are very involved with the students and welcome them through the door each day. The PTA is wonderful. They sponsor several fields trips, offer a fall carnival, hold a book fair, and an end of the year barbaque. I highly recommend it.
