We love our school it is so great. Our teachers are the best. Our principal is super.It is the all around . Thanks to all of the stuff for making this possible.
My 10 year old daughter just finished 4th grade at Highland and did wonderful, as she has since starting Pre-K there. The teachers and administration there are great and very involved. In fact I have heard Highland described as 'the hidden jewel' of Ouachita Parish. I attended the school from '61 to '66 and it was a great school then with lots of fond memories made back in those days. If you're looking for a great school with a good teacher/pupil ratio, Highland Elementary is a great choice.
Sending my daughter to Highland was like sending her to an exclusive private school. The teachers were wonderful. My daughter went on to college with a full academic scholarship because of the great education she started out with at Highland.
My grandaughter just finished here and my little boy is in his second year I have been to several different schools at monroe and have never seen a school with the staff and teachers so invovlved and caring . This by far is the best school I have been to . I wish my other kids could have had this experience.
