I have two daughters that attend Northwood. All the staff members are caring and professional. I love the fact that the school is small and the students are all well known by their teachers.

After moving to the area, we were excited to hear that the school was small and the classe sizes were small! We found that a small school and small class size ISN'T a gaurantee of a good education. My son is now in his third year there and my daughter is in Kindergarten. We are NOT impressed with the education they are getting. I've found a lack of enthusiasm in the teachers (except for Mrs. Norton) and the principal doesn't always keep up with what's going on in the classes. It's truely a dissapointment and we are moving our children to another school next year.

The teachers and the academic programs at this school excel compared to others that I have had the opportunity to review. Documentation, conference policy and teacher/parent interaction is very strong. There are several extra curricular activites that they provide for the students as well as the option of music, on-site daycare, sports activites and after-hours events through the PTA.
