I had a son and a daughter attend this school.My daughter just finished, and I am so glad to get her out of that school!They do have a few teachers that are really great,But after third grade it goes down hill!I have never been so disappointed in this school as I have been the last two years.Parents run away!!!!!!!!!
Wonderful school!!! Both of my daughers attended and love this school. The teachers go above and beyond. Ms. Sutton WE LOVE YOU!!! The staff are great!! Now my son will be attending! Again, A GREAT SCHOOL!!!!
The quality of academics for this school may be considered good. However I find that the students are generally overwhelmed with homework. The music and arts department are lacking as well as extracurricular activities. Parent involvement is low. Some of the teachers are not friendly and do not assist their students in proper learning. Nor communicate with the parents in a manner that is helpful.
I Have (2) children they have been attending Tampa Bay Elementary since kindergarten. The teachers have all been absolutely wonderful in helping me with my girls. I have (1) in 3rd grade and (1) in first. They've given my daughters the time and attention above and beyond their teaching duties. My 3rd grader is in tutoring and in a special reading program at the school. I am a volunteer for certain events. Thanks to the teachers I am actually involved in my daughters education. The school informs me in a timely manner if there are any problems and The principals know each and every student in the school. They take the time to look in on everyone and also get invovled with the parents when needed. I take the time to drive my children to school and if I ever move from the area will continue to do so. I am very pleased to have my children attend one of the best schools in Hillsborough County.
